They said on one of the news channels (i forget which one since i watched so many this morning) that they lived with the family in a town just north of Afghanistan for a few years.

I hadn't heard that thus far, but it does move to reinforce these are terrorists, not sociopaths. These are the people that want to murder us and our families. The search goes on..
