True. He started in on me on shit he had no idea about, and I should have let it go.

As for kissme, as far as her and I go (and a few other posters), here is what happened:

People were worried about the Michigan game, and of course Denard. She then came on here on the warpath and called people a bunch of "pussies" and not to worry about Denard because he sucked. People took umbrage with that, bc of how he had owned us for 2 years and he had the upper hand on ND. So then she said something to the effect that he didn't own us and "didn't have the upper hand on us at all". That's where I jumped in and said that he absolutely owned us by virtue of his record against us AND the fact that he was not only beating us but breaking records as he was doing it. As you probably have seen, I debate my points strongly, but I never made it personal, until she flipped out (more on that later).

Before I go on, it must be said that kissme always said she wanted to be treated just like one of the guys. Well, guys argue about sports. IMO I was showing her the utmost respect by debating her posts, just like I would you or anyone else, just like we would at a bar. But as soon as people disagreed with her, and said nothing of gender, she played the female card, saying the only reason we were arguing with her is because she was a female, and that if she was a male she would get more respect from us. The fact that we were debating with her and NOT caring about her gender was a massive show of respect.

Then bogs jumped in and called many of us chauvinists and really hammered us hard for arguing with her. I took major offense to that as did others, because no one was getting personal with her. We just thought her take was ridiculous, as anyone who has played sports, male or female, knows that the scoreboard is the final say in smack-talk, and by virtue of that, Denard had the upper-hand on ND, and it wasn't even close. She just couldn't get past the fact that in her head we were attacking her bc of her gender, and bogs IMHO egged that on. Truth is, we were attacking her opinion, as I have done MANY times on this site, exclusively to males.

Now, getting back to kissme, this is where it got personal with me. She didn't like my posting style with her, so she sent me a PM saying that she felt sorry for my wife because kissme was sure that I was abusive to her. THAT is where, via PM, I went right back at her on the personal train. Should I have been a better man and ignored it? ABSOLUTELY. But I wasn't a better man and I talked shit right back. So then she relayed my message to bogs and he got involved and attacked me, and I attacked right back. I thought it was between my and kissme in a PRIVATE conversation which she started, but she forwarded it to bogs and he forwarded it to his posse and it dissolved from there into him asking pham to fire me (LOL...I am still hurting financially from losing my zero $$$ a year job as a mod), and him and I going back and forth.

As a mod, I should have taken the high road with bogs. As a person, I should have just ignored kissme's incredibly rude and offensive message. I didn't, and that's on me. I don't let things go when people take shots at me. And when they bring family into it? Yeah, really bad at letting it go.

But I'll say it again, kissme was not some innocent bystander in this AT ALL. We treated her like one of the guys at a bar, which is what she claimed she wanted all along, only to cry wolf when people challenged her opinion. Stupid situation all around, no doubt, unfortunately some people only remember one side of the story (and others just guess and talk shit lol).

Ironic how Kissme turned out to be right in '12.

If you did treat her like "one of the guys" you would not have been anywhere near as tough on her.

Of course I was wrong! I was most certainly the instigator. For everyone else : the problem with NDinLA's stories is that it is always someone else. This has been pointed out many times before.

I saw ALL OF THE PM's. Your point just doesn't stand. You read into her text what you wanted, regardless of what she wrote.

High road? Today you are a bit better. But in those days you had no high road option. It just wasn't there.

Some of this is really quite humorous. I did relate to Pham a story of how a friend of mine had a business, where a customer made a completely out of line statement to another woman customer, complete with gestures, and the owner did nothing about it. The owner in that case paid the bill. I was trying to point out that there was a good sense business reason for doing the right thing.

And as far as me, I was trying to get you to step down or get removed as moderator, because I was tired of the grief some of the posters I enjoyed, suffered at your expense. You were a small man, on a small stage, wielding all of the power you could muster; for many it got to be a bore. Don't continue to be a small man, Manny.

And yes, you had some small friends cheering you on. But what happened to the posters I mentioned was wrong. Not once has a moderator since remotely had an issue like this. Let it go.
