I just had to post this one time since it's my handle. Just curious where you were, what you did when you saw it happen. In my opinion it was the greatest come from behind wins I've ever seen. There have been bigger deficits overcome, and stranger endings to a game, Joe Montana heroics, and what-not. But what a battle that was, classic plays, DD stuff at the goaline. The snow. Vengence for the previous two seasons. I sort of wish this game was being played in November.
For those of you that don't know or you youngsters, in 1992 ND played Penn St. at home in the famed Snow Bowl, down 16-9 Rick Mirer threw a 4 yd td pass to Jerome Bettis to make the score 16-15, Lou Holtz decided to go for the win and 2 pointer, no overtime back then. Mirer rolled out under pressure and threw a strike to Reggie Brooks, Brooks hung on somehow,(he wasn't know for his hands). ND stopped Penn St as they tried to throw up some hail marys, ND wins 17-16.
If you haven't seen this game go on EBAY and buy a copy, it's a must have in your collection.
