Did anyone watch the game???? The best part was at the end of the first half, VT was trying to get into the end zone and David Pollack says "VT needs to pass because Notre D... Miami's defense is too stout to run on in a goal-line situation".... I was rewinding that statement 100 times until my wife says, "okay okay he screwed up... geez quit rewinding it"!!!!!!!! I was laughing my a$$ off. The Irish D is stuck on everyone's mind they are so freakin' tough!!!!!

Exactly, as much as you may detest USC and Michigan and others, you have to root for them. It just makes sense. Michigan's loss to Nebraska really hurt us more than you may think. If Michigan wins that game they are pretty much set for the Big 10 title game. If Oklahoma can be near the top of the Big 12, Michigan in the Big 10 final, Miami in the ACC championship game, and Stanford and USC in the Pac 12 championship then we look pretty good with our SOS.

VT is terrible! O-line is terrible, D is terrible and Thomas is inconsistent as hell. Poor Poor Beamer.

Also attendance was stellar!!!

As much as I hate the term, VT truly is "irrelevant". I mean, they have the longest streak of 10 win seasons, and they're never anything more than an afterthought.

Pollack was doubting us, but he's always given our front seven credit, and he's kind of turned into our defender recently. When I've watched him the last few weeks he's had glowing things to say and always seems to be the one on our side. Whether that is due to ESPN putting him in that postition is questionable.

Sorry, I should have put that in italics, I assumed the "Poor Poor" laid it on thick enough, but I agree with you completely. Its nice to rub this in my VT friends faces.
