I've seen quite a few people post mockingly about people complaining about close wins. Nobody complains if it's a close win over Stanford, Oklahoma, and other top level teams. But when we have to consistently squeak out victories against teams like Purdue that get annihilated by elite teams, that is indicative of a problem. Every team has bad days sometimes, and once in a while you'll have to gut out a win vs a crappy opponent. But I can't remember the last time we were favored to beat a bad opponent and beat the spread. Wake Forest last year is the only recent one that comes to mind. And Air Force I think. But the best is when that win is followed by that constant piece of priceless wisdom: "it's hard to win games" - unless you're an elite team winning against said opponent by 30 at the half.

Look at Miami last year verses this year...turnarounds can be quick.

My major disappointments:

1. The defense not playing inspired football
2. Not being able to pound the ball on third and 1 or 2 yards
3. Special teams.
4. Losing to a bunch of 2 and 3 stars...Pitt
5. "Coaching up"...not really seeing it
6. Why the F can't we keep five stars?
7. All the Man crushes on Diaco puzzels me
8. Just noticed this year how dull our televised games are in comparison to ESPN
9. How slow we have been to play talent ahead of experience
10. I bet my entire bank that we would beat Pitt....%$@&!

Real question...who are you complaining about?

EDIT: Let me elaborate...I feel like most of the top end guys have developed. Farley is the biggest guy people are complaining about. He was a 3 star guy with offers from mostly second tier schools (Wisconsin, Illinois, North Carolina, etc.). He showed early promise, but was never supposed to be a high ceiling guy.

Can't make a good argument right now...Kansas game is on...
