I was at the game. While the team looked physically and mentally tired, it could very well of had a different outcome if Tyree catches that TD pass. IMO, this all boils down to one thing and it isn't MF. It's Parker's play calling. Trying to continually run up the middle against a stacked box or throwing medium to deep routes against pressure isn't going to win games. Parker needs to include some outside runs and short passes to keep the pressure off and open things up. Maybe a reverse, screen pass or a QB run?
Sure, but freeman knows what parker is doing and isn't or hasn't changed anything now for 3 weeks. It's painfully obvious why it's not working and what would be much better options (there are many to be creative with). If you can't self scout how bad our PAs are, how many easy tells we have on what type of play we're running, then this staff is even more clueless than I think. If you can't understand having more blockers in the backfield puts you against more defenders then again, incompetence. If you can't see what plays are working vs ones that aren't by now, moronic.
Freeman hired an inexperienced, terrible OC, and it's getting worse. That tells me one of 2 things, freeman hasn't stepped in to help and ensure we have a good game plan, and play calls, or freeman has stepped in and is just as clueless offensively as Parker. Either way, it's not good. With our talent, there's no excuse to be this bad offensively even with a bad OC, there's enough coaches and a HC to help out if they're competent.
Parker is so bad, he actually knows we should use mis direction now, but does it on 3rd and short vs a 10 man box that's shooting every frichan gap.
