I think Leadership has been a big thing this year that we've lacked in previous years. Between guys like Kap coming over and speaking to guys like Troy on offense after a mistake...and our RB by committee philosophy, guys that are not complaining about sharing carries, just doing whatever it takes to win. Then theres Te'o, you can't say enough about his leadership on and off the field. Theres a lot of senior leadership on this team that has stepped up, and it's great to see.

The reality is that most of these guys are done after this season. Don't take this as negativity after a big win, I'm gonna miss this guys a lot and I'm sure our team will too. That being said...who do you think steps up next year in leadership roles? Who will be the glue ala Te'o that brings this team together, picks up the young guys, and that rallies the team? Who else has been a leader this year that I haven't mentioned already?

On defense I would say Tuitt, Jackson and Nix

On offense I would say Wood and possibly Golson.

We will miss Teo, Riddick, Eifert and Motta. I still think we have enough née blood to make up for the losses.

Let's cross that bridge when we get to it.

Enjoy this ride, it may just end up being one of the most special years in ND history...

Not really saying we have to locate and groom leaders for next year, just speculation really. This is a special year already imo, and I think it has a lot to do with these leaders.

This team is special. There are a lot of leaders on this team inlcuding a backup qb a superstar linebacker, a tight end, and an up and a late blooming safety
