Fair enough, enjoy it for now though. We're still the same team we were two weeks ago, just grew up a little and showed some heart. The players definitely will need to take Army seriously, but if they play like they did today we'll be good.

I'm really not trying to be an a$$, but I've spent the last 3 weeks reading nothing but negative posts. Nobody is looking past Army at all, I just want to enjoy this win now.

i feel ya man. After three years of seeign silly mistakes commited by our team and things not go our way its nice to finally see it go our way I just gotta prepare myself so i wont feel as shocked if things arent as good in a week like i felt when things werent good for us when we fell to navy after three great weeks

What "task at hand" do us fans really have that will make a difference? What is the point of being a fan if we can't enjoy wins? I've got enough work in my life. I don't need to worry about work through fan-proxy.

It is good for us to feel good about the win. But i know that atleast the coaches are already thiinking about Army. Yes they do have the option but they don't have the athletes that Navy does but they can still run the ball well. I like the fact that we had a 4 man d-line for most of the game yesterday and it work i think they should start out that way. I also like the ablility of Shembo he can line up as a de and drop back as a line backer so they don't know if you are bring 3 or 4. And i think that the defense feels good after yesterday.

When Prince Shembo ran straight through the #1 OT player out of JUCO I thought "wow... this kid is only a Freshman... we're going to have him for 3 more years."

Anyways, I think we beat Army because our defense is going to be up for that game. I think we have a chance against USC if we get Riddick back for that game. USC will score points on us but as long as we can score some back we should be in good shape.

I hope that the Irish players are on the same emotional high that we are and ride that through the next two weeks. My biggest disappointment all year has been the lack of emotion this team appears to have and yesterday they appeared to play with a ton of heart and emotion. A big win like that can carry you. Let's hope they can ride this feeling into a bowl game.

After the last couple years/decade this win was awesome. Hopefully we will get some momentum out of it. Army is much better than most assume but our defense has something to prove after Navy. As for USC... well they are USC and every single player on this squad has something to prove against them. I'll take one win but will be hoping for 2!!!

Thank you for that reminder....... Considering we just lost to Tulsa and got the **** kicked out of us by Navy I would think that everyone on the schedule has a chance to beat us....
