How did we end up with a 4 team playoff? Deserving undefeated teams being left out of the BCS championship. The playoff system created was still designed to leave out a potential deserving team (4 spots, 5 P5 champs). So next year we have a 12 team....which just moves the controversy to probably 11 though 14.

Also, on resume, Washington should be #1, but here we are.

While I feel very bad for them, I don’t know how anyone is upset FSU is out. They are not the same team. Without Jordan Travis they would be a 3 loss team. This is one of the determining factors. Current team would struggle to beat against anyone in the top 10.

What other teams in the country manage to win with their 2nd/3rd string QB?

The only reason Milroe is starting for Bama is because they suck ass. They benched him and the others were worse.

There is controversy about the NCAA tournament "bubble" teams, too, but those are not championship teams, typically. The odds of leaving out of the best team when you take 12 rather than 4 are much lower.

I'm with ya. Until they create a NCAA Officiating crew that has zero affiliations with any certain conference or team, NCAA Football will continue to be like watching WWE with Vince calling the shots from the boothe.

I watch College over NFL until this point. Once the voting begins, I tune out and start watching the pros. I’m a simpleton who thinks wins and losses matter. I’m also old enough to have witnessed quite a few Super Bowls and NCs won with backup quarterbacks.
