Every team has their fluff, you don't even get to enjoy the competitive nature of conference play and barely squeak by horrible teams. We are 2 years into a new coach and new program (reverting back to old conditions) trying to undo the works of the Great Callahan and Cosgrove, and not to mention a game vs a tough VATech who is ranked top 5 currently (at arguable one of the toughest stadiums to play)

Arkansas state nearly beat Iowa in a game that came down to final seconds

Louisiana Lafayette is ULL - They came to our house and their coach was in tears in the post conference b/c they thought they had a chance to put us on upset alert and we shut them down 55-0.

FAU came here thinking they would put their name on the globe... burning Husker N's and talking a lot of smack only to be spanked.

I guess your games have been a lot more exciting to watch? Keep in mind if the coin fell the other way you could EASILY be 2-3 and another successful Weis year.

Are you seriously defending your crappy schedule? For real?

I've seen you guys play several times, and I saw the entire game vs. Mizzou. You got extremely lucky that: A) it poured, thus stopping Mizzou's passing attack, and B) Gabbert got hurt early, thus limiting his mobility and shutting down much of what Mizzou likes to do. Your offense is still remedial at best, and you will continue to lose until that gets shored up. You should be happy that your program looks to be on the rise, but the last thing you should be doing is talking crap, considering your schedule and your Callahan era debacle.

And listen, first of all, Lawrence Philips is from Baldwin Park, my neck of the woods. There could not be a bigger criminal in all of college sports outside of USC. He did a lot of bad things to people. For you to joke about that tells me all I need to know about you. He's an embarrassment, much like I'm sure you are to the Nebraska fans out there. (Funny how badly you guys needed to finally win a NC that you reinstate a suspended criminal in the NC game. It really taught him a lesson, as we can see with how well he's done in his life after football. Well done.)

You want to talk football in a mature way, be our guest and please, post away. But if you want to troll, go to the open boards on Rivals or Scout or SI or ESPN or whatever.
