Jerrell Priester will not be able to make it to ND this weekend, his coach waited to long to get the tickets. BUT he will be announcing his college choice tomorrow. It's between ND and Vandy, he hasn't been to either campus.

Yeah, this was a shocker. Some other boards were quick to say that he was announcing for Vandy, but that was also quickly shot down. At this point, who knows? Where do we even put him if he verbals? Bennett snatched the slot spot, and we might have a ton of DB commits soon. Hell, I don't care...you simply don't say no to that kind of speed.

What a crazy few days though!!!!! Martin re-opens his recruitment. Fauria leaves school. Then Hendrix commits. Then Leuders commits. Now momma Martin says he ain't looking nowhere but ND or a local JC. Lo Wood announcing tomorrow. Priester announcing tomorrow. Unbelievable! Yesterday I was pissed I was off of work and hearing all that horrible news, now I'm ecstatic that I'm off of work. Crazy...

Other posters on various ND sites brought up a name that I forgot about: Nickell Robey from FL, who is fast as hell and moving up the recruiting boards. He's camping at ND next week looking to get an offer, and it looks like he's got real interest in ND. He's got offers from the likes of FL, Georgia, Ohio State, Tennessee, etc. Size-wise, he's a Priester clone, but perhaps better in the coach's eyes. Does the cancelled visit + Robey possibly in the fold + the surprise announcement site unseen mean that Priester chooses Vandy bc ND cooled on him? Or does he pounce on ND before his offer no longer holds weight because of others jumping on board? We shall see tomorrow, but my money is on Vandy...

I could well be wrong but I've been thinking Vandy for some time because they can promise him he'll be a featured player there. He strikes me right now as more a role player at ND considering the competition. Just tea leaves not an eyeball evaluation.

Ive been thinkin the same thing but i read he has lil man complex. Which is a good thing. Kid has the attitude like "ill show you". Love kids with chips on their shoulders, plus have you seen his film. Kid has serious speed and knows how to use it.
