A recruit would be really foolish to pass up an opportunity to play for CB. He is gonna have a bunch of crazed animals out there in another season or two. He is getting these kids better every week. His D is fun to watch and play in.

The D was fun to watch last night. I can't even remember the last time it was fun to watch. Go Irish!

Just saw that Blue and Gold had a recruit update with Hunter and Goodman in particular. Did anyone see if they say anything about his commitment status???????

Exhale, ok, great news!

Omar reinstated that, “I can’t stop that, to be honest (The attention from other schools). I have stated all along that I am committed to Notre Dame and unless the coaches are gone, that won’t change”, so it looks like good news there. Omar also went on to state that he was of course excited about the USC offer, because it ment that one of the top program in the country really liked the way he has been performing and that was flattering.

He also mentioned that the phone has been ringing off the hook like he never commited to ND, but whlie that does and probably always will make me a little nervous at least that's a little more confirmation that he's going to be a great player.

A person I know who is a very knowledge guy when it comes to recruiting told me the Omar Hunter rumors were "baseless panic". Omar will be a difference maker for Notre Dame and he will love it here.

Notre Dame is in good shape with the remaining top targets who have not committed yet. The biggest thing that stands in the way of Notre Dame having the #1 recruiting class this year is probably the admissions office. I don't mean that as a derogatory statement towards the folks who work in admissions, either. We all know that some players want to come here but are waiting to re-take the SAT or ACT. IIRC, Golden Tate had to wait on test scores last year.

Omar was orginally scheduled to take his official visit this weekend too, but he had to reschedule, which was most likely due to having a home game tonight. He has since scheduled an official visit to ND for the Air Force game, which I think could be a good thing because now the Poodle can't "accidently" bump into him.

rumor from where? I am sick of all these people posting rumors with no source just to get everyone freaked out!!!! I heard a rumor that Dayne Crist is going to decommit and go to Central Flordia!!! :curse:

I dot to it from espn.go.com and went to College football recruiting it's in the briefing room

that doesnt mean anything at this point. its just a rumor until there's actual confirmation that hes planning on making the trip

It doesn't make me feel all warm and rosey, but untill I see a somthing a little more concrete to me this just just still a rumor to stir the pot and sell subsriptions. Not saying it won't happen, I haven't heard anything one way or the other, but I'm still not going to get all worried. Remeber that there were some pretty stong rumors before about him visiting USC, and Florida.
