Praying for the families of this terrifying event. Very sad times we live in. Love Bourbon Street and the good memories I have. It's just a shame this attack happened and the place just won't be the same way anymore.
It will be the same again in a month or so

It's pretty scary...prayers to all the affected families. If they keep finding explosives, and confirmed additional suspects, no way is this game being played tomorrow. My guess is they will declare martial law, and tell people to stay indoors.

The initial attack is reminiscent of the Halloween attack in NYC a few years back. Run people down with a rental vehicle. Just terrible and recently happened in Germany as well.

It also doesn’t matter if this scumbag was homegrown or foreign. Somewhere along the way he was radicalized and was operating in a terror cell and I guarantee he left clues.
Based on the info coming out so far, it appears Jabbar’s life was in distress (finances, divorce, etc.), perfect candidate to be vulnerable and radicalized.

Good luck convincing Disney/ABC to put this on before 7pm ET. Big Mouse not allowing that.
This is why although the production value rivals Major League Cricket, letting NBC take the reigns of the playoff would allow us to play this game at 9am ET from Biloxi if we wanted.

Never rush to judgement or listen to the first reports in these events. The FBI woman was trying to downplay to not cause fear and panic. Postponing the game was the right thing to do out of an abundance of safety. They need the resources for the investigation and it allows for the safety of the teams and fans. What a horrible night. God bless the victims of this attack.

They always know more than they tell. And there’s always more to the story. Every time we have even small incidents I am reminded of this.

I would have never thought they would postpone the game but, after reading all the reports, and seeing what has happened I know now its the right thing to do.
