Yep. Shockingly QB's throw picks. I know who the Hell would ever think that. Overall he plays well beyond his age and with confidence. I have seen a couple of ugly passes from him tonight but overall he has played with poise. Also he needs to learn a little touch as he throws a crazy fastball on slants.

I hope so. It is just very interesting to see his performance since he didn't even start the season and they are playing a good Texas team (not great but good).

I agree with the OP's point. Guy is a redshirt freshman in his first start and he has excellent command of his offense even against a very good defense.

I think it's obvious Golson has a long way to go, but this offense many more problems besides QB. This team has no running game and other than Eifert is average at the skill positions. If you're going to play a young QB you need to be able to run the ball and they can't.

That's not true. The team is averaging a VERY pedestrian 140 yds/game rushing. It needs to get MUCH better, but it's enough to keep defenses honest. To say that they have NO running game is just not true.

I'm not even counting the Navy game, they should dominate against a team that undersized. If you take that game they are averaging about 90 yards a game rushing. That is terrible.

Yeah, well, if we are going to play that game, then I am not even counting the Purdue game. Purdue has a Top 25 defense against the run, and ND should have struggled to run on them. If you take that game away they are averaging a respectable 170 yards per game.
