I disagree completely. Even if ND blew out USC I don't think we would be hearing at that much as most of the talent there was elite and wasn't going to decide for sometime anyways and the one's that do usually take a few day to a week to officially announce it.

I think you're wrong. Dismantling USC in that atmosphere would have done wonders. Instead we're 4-3 and have put the thought back into the heads of recruits that we can't yet be taken seriously.

A 38-0 win would have been nice but would not have brought a stampede of commitments either.
This '12 group were primarily guys that decide late and a couple of commits ND was trying to turn. There's 3-1/2 months left in the recruiting seasons.

it can get very stressfull following the recruiting ups and downs-but that's what makes it entertaining as well.
Winning would only helped for sure but answering your question about the lack of significant news we've gotten up 'til now anything other than a disappointment is completely wrong IMO.
All I'm saying is in a blowout win I don't see any of these guys that plan on waiting to announce to do to all of a sudden announce because of the experience.
Win or lose it wasn't expected that there was going to be a lot of commits this week as there are just to many elite prospects that are going to wait. This past weekend was about sell job to either get there foot in the door and/or to be in it to the end.
Then there is the fact that the few kids that might verbal it might take days for them to decide and announce.
