Jason you know your stuff as I have always said, where I think the failure has been is in the fill in 2/3/4 star oline/dline/ and just athletes across the board. The one thing that always sticks out to me is special teams. The top 15 teams seem to have real talent and depth waiting to play in the next wave. Its the sign of over all talent and depth. Its a sign of recruiting on a team wide scale. I dont think Notre Dame is there. It's not 5 star big guys its quality fill ins. Notre Dame will get the Clausen/Floyd/Tate combos they need more team depth and Charlie enhanced that but didnt get it to where the other guys who are winning have it. Most of those players come from the defensive side of the ball.

And where does it say what you posted previously?

I heard that Louis Nix only committed to ND because Weis wasn't going to be at ND.

It doesn't say that, does it?


Your referenced quote doesn't support the part you made up.


If you followed recruiting even casually you'd know that Nix complimented Weis for calling him AFTER Weis was fired by ND.

He told me about the situation with the coaches, and he said if he wasn't going to be there, he thought I should still go there, and that Notre Dame was the best school for me. For someone to tell me that, who possibly wouldn't be coaching me, that's something worth listening to. No more visits, no more nothing. I'm 100-percent.
