On ESPNs main page, there is a USC video tab based on the scandals (with Will Ferrell on it).

The interesting wording is what is said under the video when you click on it.

"Fear not, Trojans fans! This will blow over. College football's next big scandal is just around the bend."

Not saying it means anything but it is interesting how they worded it.

Also, after looking at the picture of Will Ferrell I couldn't help but think... "Don't you put that evil on me Ricky Bobby!!!"

The author specifically refers to Ohio State several times in that article.

ESPN's writers aren't nearly clever enough to drop those kinds of hints.

I agree. I read the article and there is nothing that could even be taken as a subtle hint that this guy knows where the next scandal is coming from. He assumes there will be one, but that isn't exactly going out on a limb. Just for fun I googled "Mark Kreidler Notre Dame" (funny that chrome doesn't recognize "googled" as a word, but I digress).

I got some ancient results wherein the guy gratuitously takes a swipe at ND for no apparent reason, (this article about the Tampa Bay Buccaneers being the best example). He did appear fixated on the George O'Leary thing, writing about it or mentioning it a few different times. But these articles are about a decade old and this guy does not seem to be especially plugged-in in a way that would allow him to have knowledge of an impending scandal. If this guy knew, we'd have already heard about it from somewhere else.

Simply a coincidental choice of words on the part of the web editor at ESPN.com, IMO.

tOSU is in this area. Its possible thats what they are referring to. My wife is a writer so when I catch things like this it really make me think what they are getting at.
