These people aren't going to split from Trump. Rogan has said more obviously left leaning shit than this and fell INTO Trump. He just had on anti-vaxxers and holocaust deniers a few weeks ago. He'll say something like he did here..and then something else will happen with some candidate somewhere and he'll call the left "insane" and say they've gone too far and forget this event ever occurred.

Trump openly tried to overthrow the government and was ok with the Vice President being murdered......and Rogan still gleefully had him on his podcast. Rogan is too far gone at this point. Do you not understand how our government works? They aren't challenging the content of the EO...non-citizens already CAN'T vote...the EO doesn't actually do anything. He might as well have just signed an EO that said giraffes can't vote....which the Democrats would STILL challenge because....

They are filing the lawsuit on the basis that the President can't control how states run their elections and/or can't dictate who can or can't vote. Those powers are designated to the states and Congress via the Constitution.

Not really evidence that the Dems have drifted so far "left", I would say more evidence of the ongoing realignment of populist economic policies to the Republicans and corporatist economic policies to the Democrats. The Democrats now have a more traditionally conservative "free trade" approach and the Republicans a more traditionally liberal/leftist point of view. Donald Trump is not a conservative, he is a populist
