An immigration attorney submitting an affidavit is not evidence of anything
They discuss the specific evidence in it.....they reference the specific evidence..so the evidence is the evidence.

Hell, there is some of it shown in the affidavit!

..and yes an affidavit from their attorney referencing specific pieces of evidence they have submitted to ICE/DHS is pretty substantial...it's not the same as some drunk saying "they saw something fishy" with a box.

..and this is why we have something called "due process"..to bear these claims out in court BEFORE the person is deported.

Keep licking boots though!

The fact that this: "there is a strong public interest in preventing the mistaken deportation of people based on categories they have no right to challenge." needs to be said out loud..in court...to the lawyers of the POTUS..is very representative of the sad state of affairs in this country.

Just imagine, if Biden and the Dems hadn't fought so hard to flood our country with illegals, none of this would be happening. The gang members, the drug dealers, the child traffickers... all of the bad sorts no rational person should want in their country, yet the Biden admin did everything they could to allow them in unvetted, encourage them to come, incentivize them to enter illegally, then did as little as humanly possible to detain them or even keep track of them. So yeah, your side caused this, so deal with how the rest of us now have to clean up your side's mess.

This statement alone illustrates you not understanding the point.

Your president and his administration just brought the Tate brothers to America.

so deal with how the rest of us now have to clean up your side's mess.
So you're fine with due process being suspended?

I think “strong public interest” is speaking to a legal concept and not referring to current public opinion.

This is your reply to everything where you're wrong and losing the argument.

Your president and his administration just brought the Tate brothers to America.
No love for them, but two guys vs millions of illegals is far from the same thing. Again, when you have to resort to such spin and false equivalences, you might as well just admit defeat in the debate.

So you're fine with due process being suspended?
Yep. They aren't entitled to due process. You sure weren't complaining about the lack of adherence to the law when your side was letting them in, so keep your mouth shut now that my side is tossing their criminal asses out.

.....Did I say it was the same thing?...What do you think the point of me bringing that up was?

Think about it.

They literally are. They are Constitutionally entitled to due process.
You should've been this worried about due process and the law when you were supporting letting them in without any regards to US immigration law. You didn't say anything about due process and following the law then, so be quiet now as that mess gets cleaned up.

Looking worse and worse for everybody's favorite Hamas mouthpiece!
Not really. This is an attempt now to retcon legal reasons to revoke his change of status request because he was a part of groups that the current admin doesn't approve of. They are attempting to leverage a narrow part of Part F (with slight leaning on Part J) of the INA. Their argument is that his participation in these groups was a threat to national security in the US..which is absurd.

The best "case" would be leveraging his membership in UNWRA, which Trump stopped funding during his first term...but after subsequent investigations, the Biden admin began funding again and was doing so at the time of his application. The Trump team will have a tough case in court that Khalil's membership in a group that the POTUS and Congress was funding was a serious national security concern, similar to working in a British (ally) embassy or being part of an anti-apartheid group.

He's the spokesman of a group who has a stated goal is "fighting for the total eradication of Western civilization". I say we deport them to Yemen and get in the signal chat and plan on sending some ordnance their way!
