The laws around entry were much more lax back then. During WW1 the government actually expelled some long term immigrants.

In 1924 it was estimated we had over 1 million illegal immigrants. We had people sneaking in from the moment we put restrictions around immigration.

This is me too. I'd never heard of Paul Golding until reading his name here, and don't think I'd ever heard the term Replacement Theory, either. I agree that posting a tweet that contains something about replacement theory distracts from the core issue. We have a huge border issue that Biden and his “border czar” have done virtually nothing to get control of the situation.

I hoped that the pressure that New York and other states are currently experiencing would motivate the powers that be. My hopes were unfounded.
