Ok, so it won't work completely but this is what I have been telling myself.

That if we had a choice to lose against either Navy or Pitt who would you rather lose to. My answer is Pitt. Forget the logic of my statement and go with me for a moment. Perhaps if we walloped Navy we would be complacent in the Mark May bowl? Now, Big Chuck will have the players playing for his job from down 1 and I believe in my heart that we will win this Saturday.

I have spoken ill of Coach Weiss on many occasions but now I have put that aside and stand unified with Notre Dame in this week of trial. Although it may be of little solace to some, the win against the Panthers will be sweet retribution.

1 shot of Southern Comfort and 1 shot of Drambuie - poor both in to a pint of Guinness.

Couple of those and - **voila!** - before I know it, it's a whole new day!
