I would think there's got to be a decent way to counter this, and it certainly wouldn't work at the college level. Maybe kick the ball to the corner rather than the middle, or kick it high so that your kick coverage can get to the ball before they can setup their little huddle.

Desmet HS (Munir Prince and Paddy Mullen) used to do this back on Freshman and JV about 15 years ago. What we did is just kicked it in the corner. It worked for us and they didn't do anything great with it. It was weird to go against that is for sure.
