It really parallels the theme of your project because he died right around the same time as Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett, et al. but he received zero attention. He basically spent his entire life working to curb world hunger. He developed disease resistant wheat. To quote Wikipedia: "Borlaug was one of only six people to have won the Nobel Peace Prize, the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Congressional Gold Medal".

Very interesting story. Without him, diseases like wheat rust would have devastated the global food supply.

A former millionairre who stayed in contact with his hometown in an old mining town and helped out the less fortunate. He was a former Philadelphia Eagles Owner and part owner of the Flyers until Ed Snyder basically screwed him. Wolman eventually hit hard times, and those who he helped ended up helping him in the end.

I recommend everyone add "World's Richest Man" to their list of books to read.
