It's like they cannot imagine any redeeming quality about a university located outside of California. One day's weather should disqualify us? How about the mud pit that always seems to arise when we have a game there? Is all of California a mud pit? There was an earthquake there once. Shouldn't recruits be concerned about that? Rabble.

Also, they think the expectations for their student athletes are higher than the expectations for ND's student athletes. Hahaha. Elitism.

Man, Stanford's fifty fans form one hell of an echo chamber. I'm sure choosing us over them has nothing to do with us being a world class university, absolutely unique in the world, which also has the ability to fill a stadium.

Sisyphus as a mascot would be apt for a lot of schools. Stanford needs a fanbase before it can claim some degree of luck-based injustice. Right now it's just an overachieving program with a grand tradition of mediocrity.

I'll be a bit surprised if ND doesn't win honestly. FSU is nowhere near the team they were last season.

i've watched ASU twice in person this year. They are in big trouble when ND comes to town with a legit D and an offense that can tear them apart (which isn't saying much). ASU needs to pray for Kelly to get healthy and be effective right away.

answer--Yep! The same one that just suffocated Stanford, is undefeated this year, and has a QB who has lost once in his career...to a semi-pro team.

If you need to discredit Stanford in order to bolster your argument, it's probably not a very good argument. I dislike ND as much as anyone on here, but they're for real right now. I guess we can agree to disagree.

As long as Golson is QB..they will be up there. The guy is a gamer.

Not worried.. Franklin has been dominated the northeast so far and of course he's not going to get them all. Kelly is not in the same universe compared to Franklin in regards to recruiting. Plus Kelly looks psychotic when he's yelling at his players.

At least Kelly doesn't cry.

It's kind of surprising how much hate Kelly gets on these boards. Makes me like him that much more.

One of my personal favorites has been the progress from how much happier Michigan was to get Hoke instead of Kelly, and then the slow but inevitable decline from there.

If you want a good laugh, go to the Stanford vs ND game.

They blame the refs yet they were Pac 12 refs. Everything is about blown ref calls, not their 8 men covering our 5 when the TE was wide open.

I think it depends on how big you want it to get - as far as major rivals, you're there (except for Navy, which seems kind of crass to snark at them to be honest but for general reading here's a site...) If you want to make it all inclusive, there needs to be some organization to it. Given our semi-inclusion to the ACC, maybe a listing of all their boards, and then the other teams we play organized by conference?
