Harry Oliver Autograph / Poster?

Hiya folks!

I'm a long time lurker, very occasional poster. I'm writing because I'm trying to figure out my dad's (ND class of '83) birthday and/or Christmas gift this year. It occurred to me that he's told a couple of stories a few times about his time as a student athletic trainer. One of them involves his time with the football team. He was designated as the person (or maybe one of two people?) who was suppose to retrieve the ball after any field goal attempts. This includes the 1980 Harry Oliver field goal . For him, right after Harry Oliver drained the field goal, he started celebrating instead of retrieving the football, and he had to hunt down / tackle the fan who had caught the ball and take it back, saying, "This ball belongs to Harry Oliver!" (He likes to describe it as something like, "On the last play of the game, I made the final tackle just outside the endzone and got the game ball")

So I'm trying to figure out how to either (1) find a poster of Harry Oliver's kick (there's a pretty iconic photo, so I could try and recreate one (from here?), I'm just wondering if anything's already out there) or (2) find something that's autographed by Harry Oliver. He doesn't seem to be well-known enough that autographed materials are easily findeable.

Does anyone have any suggestions for websites or any sorts of resources that might help me about finding things like this?

Thanks for your help my dear fellow Irish fans!

You can have pics made into posters these days and it is relatively cheap. You might get one made and track Olivers address down through the alumni association or ND. Send him a letter or email and explain what you're doing. I bet he would be happy to autograph it.

That was actually my plan as well, and I was surprised and saddened to learn he’d died so young!

I’m definitely thinking about just making the poster unless anyone has ideas on existing ones.
