This month marks the 25th anniversary of "Die Hard." As a reasonable man who is not given to hyperbole, I can state that "Die Hard" is inarguably one of the greatest works of artistic creation in all of recorded history. I just watched this again the other night for the 40th kajillion time. Still enjoyed every bit of it.

Actually, I have always loved this movie and considered it the finest action film ever made. Why? In an era where action heroes were bulked up with muscles and could endure ungodly amounts of explosions and wounds without the slightest twinge along came John McClane. In this movie he gets dirty, wounded, has to reload often, runs out of ammo, scavenges ammo off dead bad guys...very, very realistic in an era of unrealistic stuff.
