In retrospect, I didn't make it terribly clear, but that's what I was saying.
They don't need to follow mine, but if they don't use the intelligence they have to do what makes them happy... then I feel like I'd have done something wrong.

The minute generation? Want it now, need it now, have to do it now! I just trade marked it! Really though, our kids need to know the importance of education and the future.

...I think you hit on another important issue...in the on-demand environment, kids wait for, plan for, work for very few things. The result is a retarded work ethic, and no ability to maintain focus on things that come to them with "SUSTAINED" effort.
I'm no angel...my dad rolls his eyes at the crap my kids have. They do work though...I can crack a whip...
