As someone pointed out, Florida over us discredits this list almost immediately. We’re next to Penn state?
Mertz was unironically good for Florida last year. 73% completion percentage, 2900 passing yards, 8.1 YPA, 20 TDs/3 INTsFlorida with Graham Mertz as starter has a better qb room?
Well, that was short lived!Nice to see ND crack the top 10, but I think we are better than #8. I can see ND rising in future lists.
Cincinnati would have won yesterday...Another bum from Cincinnati like the rest of this staff. Get an AAC coaching staff get AAC results.
So now we're not throwing shitloads of money at Mike Mickens to stay forever?Another bum from Cincinnati like the rest of this staff. Get an AAC coaching staff get AAC results.
This was the first thing I thought of a possible quick fix.Wonder if we’ll see Denbrock up in the box & Gino on the sideline.
You're counting slot fades and such as deep balls? As best I can recall, he seems to overthrow these things more often than he underthrows them.Love CJ's decision making.
The one thing we saw Saturday, and I think this is where Gino comes in, is CJ needing to lead his WR a bit more on the deep balls. The 4th down where he missed a wide open TD being the best example. You just HAVE TO hit that throw.
Otherwise, the dirty work is probably being done during the week with Minchey and the other guys in the room. I like having Gino at The Gug. Could be a matter of time before something comes along for him.
He underthrew two on Saturday. One was to Gilbert. I can't remember if the other one was Pauling or Fields. He overshot the 4th down one. You're counting slot fades and such as deep balls? As best I can recall, he seems to overthrow these things more often than he underthrows them.
I see how I wasn't very clear. What I meant was "Are you including fades (along with gos, posts, corners, seams, etc.), or is there some reason you don't think of them as a deep routes even though they're conventionally considered deep routes?"He underthrew two on Saturday. Never said anything about slot fades.
