It better beIs Duke the best defense we see for the remainder of the season?

Which reminds me Clemson ran roughshod over Duke’s defenseThem or Clemson. I don’t think anyone else has a defense in the top 30.
I think you are correct. Hartman clearly looked frustrated when looking to the sideline. Let him call the plays if Parker is going to insist on being that predictable.Biggest proof moment for me that GP needs some serious in game coaching improvement was pre-snap sequence before winning TD run.
Hartman was clearly frustrated trying to get a clean signal from sideline, looked like he was going to call TO because he couldn’t get that, then hurries them to the line and gets snap off.
Play caller can’t be that disorganized. Poorly handled.
That said, may have benefited ND in that Duke looked disorganized and unprepared at snap so maybe we can rehearse this to be less predictable.
Give me a list of the greatest OCs in history so I can cherry pick poor performances by their offenses, especially with a backup quarterback.Ludwig scored 7 pts this week
Duke respected clemsons wrs, that tells you something because Clemson wrs are nothing specialWhich reminds me Clemson ran roughshod over Duke’s defense
We will, and he won't be.In my humble, and ultimately meaningless opinion, if we have another clunker like that this season Parker needs to be shown the door.
And he would still be a GIANT upgrade over Parker. Think about that.Ludwig scored 7 pts this week
ExactlyNot defending Parker per se, but friendly reminder that with the WR injuries (and late scratch for Greathouse)I genuinely think a significant portion of the playbook wasn't available with the patched worked players he had.
Yes, also responsible for having everyone ready, but sprinkling in some context.
This is the more concerning thing about Parker, for me. He knew he was missing two wide receivers and the right side of the old line was playing poorly in the first half… So what did he do to adjust? He literally tried the exact same things he was doing in the first half. There's enough tape for opposing DC's to key in on Parker's tendencies. He hasn't adjusted, and needs to. Healthy WRs

or not. We have a stable of RB's with different skill sets and he keeps trying to run power/counter with Estime when Duke is blitzing the exact spot he's trying to pull the guards.
I think that just points out why he’s not a very good OC right now (hopefully he grows with experience). He’s like the running back that gets you the yardage that is blocked and nothing more. Not defending Parker per se, but friendly reminder that with the WR injuries (and late scratch for Greathouse)I genuinely think a significant portion of the playbook wasn't available with the patched worked players he had.

This is absolutely correct…Hartman has no idea what the play is and the clock gets to like 7 seconds and he says fuck itNot a knock on Lax but if Lax can figure out the tendencies from home, you sure as hell can bet an elite DC like Elko can smell it a mile away.
What’s more, a good OC creates and calls plays that put his players in positions to succeed. GP is not doing that. Look at Mike McDaniel.
The RBs have had to constantly turn nothing into something. Same with Mitch Evans and his miracle catches. The play designs are not designed well and GP is getting bailed out by Hartman and the RB room.
Twitter sleuths seem to think it was Hartman who called the running play on Estime’s TD. An interesting observation.
Is this actually true??This is absolutely correct…Hartman has no idea what the play is and the clock gets to like 7 seconds and he says fuck it
I don’t know that it’s true, but it sure seemed like it on the broadcast. Is this actually true??
I'm kind of concerned about penalties myself. They're fucking drive killers, and this team has made way too many penalties this season so far. Both sides of the ball, but offensively they can absolutely kill you. It’s the lack of ideas that’s most concerning.
Has Rising played at all this year?Ludwig scored 7 pts this week
That wouldn’t surprise me. You could see the frustration with the offense not getting the play call in. It was very hurried. The time was ticking, I think Hartman snapped it with 1 or 2 seconds left. This is absolutely correct…Hartman has no idea what the play is and the clock gets to like 7 seconds and he says fuck it
He needs to find a way to get 4 some easy catches.
NopeHas Rising played at all this year?
This. There's no layups on offense. Everything takes forever to develop, everything is slow, every running play is seemingly pulling an OT or guard.
There needs to be an install of easy pitch and catches. After a big play, the team should be moving quickly to prevent defenses getting into their sets and making substitutions. There's absolutely none of that going on in this offense right now.
Parker wishes he was Tommy. Parker woke up on 3rd with Hartman gifted to him and he got thrown out by the pitcher in back to back games. He was handed the golden ticket with an experienced offense full of talent. How can you be Tommy's biggest defender yet hate Parker?
They're the same guy!
I cheer for who's here, not who runs away to Bama.
Live in the now!

The dude he wanted to hire has out up 24 against florida, 20 against a terrible Baylor team, 31 against Weber State!, 14 against UCLA and 7 against OSU west. He’d be getting crucified on this board right now.
