anyone see this show?


just caught first 3 episodes over Christmas break on demand.
its on the esquire channel.

was fascinating to me, having coached my kids in pop warner. big difference vs what they do down in Texas that fo sho.

the series chronicles a San Antonio 8 and 9 year old tackle football program and the teams and coaches that are in it. so far its very entertaining.

what say you IE?

heard about it but never saw an episode..not big on reality shows...i did see a preview or snippet of an episode as a commercial and saw some coach chewing a younger kid out bad!!!!! NOT cool with how far that guy took it...i coach football and baseball for my 6/7/8 year old boys and i wouldn't treat the other kids or my kids like i saw the one coach doing.

Some of the stuff on the show happens everywhere. I think it's another example of overhyped Texas football so the coaches try to be over dramatic.

I feel so wrong about this reality show. Seeing those previous just makes it seem like this is the kind of show that shows everything that's wrong with football, especially youth football. Obviously I can't go in depth here since I haven't watched it just the previews, but that's my take.

I also find it creepy to make a reality show based on youth sports. High school, ehh I can understand it, but these kids are in third or fourth grade. Just seems slimey.

I meant I was shocked at how these 8 and 9 year old teams are like mini NFL franchises/college programs.

alweays knew HS was crazy donw there and that they had college like facilities for HS---just never realized it was all the way down at the 8 and 9 year old levels.
2nd and 3rd graders doing film study! its unreal...

Oh gotcha. We have some pretty good Pop Warner teams here. The Odell Eagles play 5 minutes from my house and won the National Championship for their age in 2011.

Not a big fan either.
The way some of the coaches treat the kids is unacceptable IMO.
Yell, curse and scream at em' all you want once they hit high school. Until then, teach them to play hard but chill the eff out, it's not the gd nfl.

I think it's more that the coaches think they are Saban and Bellicheck if their Pop Warner team destroys people than anything else.

OK just caught another episode...we need to offer #28 on the Predators as well, kids lasy name is McClain.

would be a great slot WR in our offense possibly RB if he can add a few pounds.

reminds me of Golden Tate when he was 9.

THANK YOU! I watched about ten minutes and wanted to climb through the TV and kick the shat out of the coach. Parents letting their kids be subjected to that should be smacked too. Yuck!
