Yeah, jacka$$, Ty has won so many big games. Get a clue stupid. If you were a ND fan, you would have easily known that CW has by far and away done a better job of recruitin than TYTY. He couldn't recruit, not to mention, he lost games he was supposed to win. If Ty was that great of a coach, he'd still be here. You're one of the biggest F**king Tools I've seen on here in some time. If you don't know what the hell you're talking about, shut the hell up.
great counter argument. you're hurting your brain a little, I can tell, so let me help you.
Ty as a coach has nothing to do with judging Weis based on that absurdly premature and stupid extension. Nothing.
However, Ty's first year was just as good as Weis' first year. Ty's second year included a slew of touch losses to top ranked teams. Top ranked teams.
Ty's 3rd year was a disaster. Guess what, Sherlock? Weis' third year started off with two losses (first time they've been 0-2 since 2001), and a 30 point loss to an unranked team at home (first time in ND history... at least Charlie is making history though). You think it's safe to say his third year will be a disaster too.
But Weis is working with Ty's recruits! Somewhat true. But he also has his own recruits in place. And was anyone crying when he was WINNING with Ty's recruits? Oh, I get it: all of the credit, none of the blame. Brilliant. Where was the whining for Ty when he was coaching Bob Davies' recruits?
Ty's 2-0 and just beat a ranked team who won a major bowl game last year.
Weis is 0-2 and his teams haven't even had a chance to win a game in 2007.
As a Notre Dame fan, I think that contract was foolish, arrogant, and disastrous.
