Related question... the stars on the front page don't match any single recruiting service. It shouldn't annoy me as much as it does... but it does. Can anyone with power fix this?

Guys,
Do not get too caught up in the stars!! The most important thing to remember is that ND is filling all positions of need with solid players and depth. Further, for those guys like Rabasa who got slighted, this is just more motivation to work harder at ND.

Besides, we all know that guys like Rabasa, Councell, Ochotcha are players.

We will take 3 star studs like Rabasa all day long!!!

I believe everyone in the 250 is 4 Star or higher. Rivals hasn't issued a new position list but on the November list he was the #11 WDE with 3 Stars. He hasn't been upgraded to 4 Stars which is probably the reason he's not in the 250.

Its also obvious that Councell blew by him in the WDE rankings when the updated one comes out. As you noted, the top 10 WDE in the last rankings were 4 stars, with 11 (Rabasa being left out). I would assume Councell will be put in the 5-7 range (5 being most likely from looking at which WDE's are ranked ahead of him in the 250) when the position rankings are out. Rabasa will probably be in the 11-14 range.

Sounds reasonable. It appears from the DE names on the new 250 that Rabasa will be passed by some guys.

Regardless of where he ends up, I think ND did well with his choice.

Couldn't agree with you more. Even with the loss of Tuitt, I think this is one of the best defensive classes we have seen at ND it quite some time. Looking forward to a great 2011 season and building on the foundation in the 2012 class.

Rivals has only updated the 250. Rabas will remain a 3 star but the position rankings ahve not been updated yet
