It's funny seeing the huge discrepancy between Scout and Rivals at this point. Scout has us as the third ranked class and Rivals doesn't even have us in the top ten. Hopefully after tomorrow it gets a lot closer.

It is. I was looking through recruit profiles and it's crazy how far apart some of them are

Rivals will add 12 new 5 stars and drop 2 current 5 stars. I honestly think the big 3 will all get the bump. Also even though Hegarty was injured he should slip a little (as will everyone on the West team's offensive line). I also wouldn't be shocked to see GAIII fall out of the 100. Lastly, I think Councell makes his debut at 100.

The biggest would have to be Golson. Golson is the number 14 on scout,22 on ESPN, but isn't even in the top 50 quarterbacks that Rivals gave a ranking to.

I think Councell is going to make a huge jump. Top 100 maybe, but I'm thinking top 150 for sure. Lynch, Tuitt, and Williams all deserve their 5th stars... Im probably a little biased tho haha

I expect Lynch and Golson to earn another star... but not too sure beyond that... despite what Colin Cowheard says Rivals just doesn't up and give out extra stars to players who commit to ND

Tuitt is a going to get a 5th star
Ishaq and Lynch will be in it for a 5 as well but i doubt both will get it. Both will have huge jumps up the rankings
Daniels i think will have a jump as well but still a mid pack 4 star
Koyack will remain the same
Hegarty might drop a bit only because of guys moving up
Atkinson o think will drop because of his play at the AAAB but will still be a 4 star
Councell will be a 4 star and i think breaks the 250

This would shock me! It was actually the opposite, numbers fell dramatically in the playoffs.

ND being so well represented in this article certainly bodes well for some serious increases in the rankings. Ben Councel's write up in particular is interesting.

Councell has gotten a 4th star, Ishaq and Tuitt are now five stars. Lynch was raised from a 5.8 to a 6.0 but did not get a fifth star.

There is a tight bunch of schools at #6 - #8, the three schools (Oregon, ND and Clemson) all have almost identical totals, and one more recruit for any of them would result in that school being number 6.

It's also fairly tight all the way down to number 10, at Ohio State, so we could conceivably drop that far.

But based on the new rankings, we'll definitely be between #6 and #10 unless something really strange happens in the next couple of weeks.

One more note of the new rankings, there are only 26 5*s, unless someone got a jump up from outside of the Rivals 250. That's way less than Scout gives out.

Nice to think that we have two of the top 26 prospects though.
