"Notre Dame could be less than 24 hours from its next commitment on defense. Another pledge or two or three could be coming by month’s end. Check out this week’s update to the Master List on defense, where Notre Dame looks to continue its recruiting roll with pledges from Kendall Moore, Spencer Boyd and Bruce Gaston. The Irish are in strong shape with all three."

I do not have premium access, but the little tidbit from the article is giving some VERY strong wording that we may be getting all three of these guys in the near future. I normally don't post on the misleading headlines, but this one has an interesting wording to it that makes me thing we are close to getting three more, espeically with Kendall Moore's announcement being a foregone conclusion from everything else I have read.

Easy there big fella! I know you're young and relatively new to the game, but we've been BURNED by many 'foregone conclusions' too many times to call it out like that, my brotha. South Carolina and NC State have something to say about that. Having said that disclaimer, I agree that my man will announce Irish tomorrow at 5:30 eastern!!!

Man... everything and I mean EVERYTHING else I have read say he's going to be Irish tomorrow. If he signs an LOI, that would be a different story. But tomorrow, he will be Irish... and I say that NOT in an ND=NC sorta way...

ND appears to be the favorite for Moore but NC State likes there chances. Boyd is not as clear with Georgia a major player.

Yeah, I think we end up with at least 2, but feel confident that we get all 3. Gaston may be the biggest steal of them all, he hasn't played organized football all that long, and has room to learn more.

I honestly dont care how many stars anyone on any of the lines has as long as there are enough bodies. OLine recruiting and Dline recruiting are the toughest ones to evaluate and stars do not matter at all for the lines

I agree... I think the only science for offering a lineman is size... the ONE thing you can't coach.

Foot speed for OL is something that can't very well be taught. It's often the differace between an elite OL, and someone who can "just get the job done".

I would rather have 5 people who just get the job done then 1 guy who is elite, 2-3 that just get the job done, and 1-2 that aren't worth their time

I think it was IrishinFL who was telling us that D Line rankings and evaluations are pretty accurate. O-line and Corner i have heard are very hard to evaluate as far as services are concerened. Coaches tend to look for certian things which is why star rankings do not always follow suit in these positions. Remember Blanton was a low 4 star and 3 star for most of his senior year.

Welcome to the site Mr. Texas. Some words of advice.. Turn off the CapsLock.

Agreed. Welcome to the site, and keep posting! But please, STOP SCREAMING AT US!!! We hear you, loud and clear my man. It's nice to have some TX posters; maybe you can work on getting us some more damn Texas players on our roster!
