This is a poll for who is your favorite recruit so far. Explain why you picked him.

Rudolph is my favorite at this point because I think he has big play ability. He is an extremely athletic tall TE who could be used with the long pass and run or just as a red zone threat. He could easily dominate a game.

branden newman its simple power on the defensive line. we can stop anything up the middle and put pressure up the middle it opens up a lot of opportunity for our backers and backs to make plays

McDonald because I think he is top 3 MLB in the country and very underrated. Gym rat, hard working, badass MLB.

I picked Cwyner, but also should be Cave for helping recruit guys for his class and having them stay at his familys place. (like Wheeler said)

I took Clelland, I just love his nasty attitude. He may not be huge at this point but I figure that he will grow into a dominating OT.

I went with Cave. He's from the local area, and he's helping quite a bit in recruiting.

So far I would have to say that it is Fleming. I am excited about all the defensive upgrade in talent inthis class. Looking forward to the db commits.

ditto...id have to say for this class either A-Mac or Crist

I'm w/ you. Gotta go w/ either of the SoCal boys w/ a slight edge to MacDonald b/c I'm anxious for ND to produce some classic LBs like in the Holtz era. It's been awhile since we've heard a LB mentioned like some of the recent college standouts.

Shoot... I clicked the wrong one! Added to the Dayne Crist box on accident.

I'm gonna go with Joseph Fauria, solely based on what he had to say on his power hour interview. Very personable, very heartfelt, very articulate... an extremely impressive guy, that fell in love with ND after one visit, and couldn't walk away without verballing. Gotta love that.

I honestly love the recruiting class as a whole. I picked A-Mac (but there were so many great things about all the other recruits). Reason's for A-Mac:

-High talent level at the important LB spot
-Shows great ability to 'find the ball'
-GREAT work ethic; guy is a gym 'freak'
-Dude's Dad was a Trojan, and yet Anthony had a bulls-eye on ND from the start

Was hard to look past the talent level on many of the other recruits, plus the intangibles on guys like Cave and Cwynar (hosting players), but A-Mac gets my vote.......

Can't see myself falling in love with a player who never played a down for me. All I will say play smart, listen to the Mad Scientist , and before you leave bring home a championship.

To me there is not one recruit who really stands out in the crowd. What I like is the overall talent level -- especially that at key positions. I don't know where this class will be "ranked" at the end of the year, but, IMO, this is CW's best class so far -- even if he stopped recruiting today.

Gotta give it to Cave for hosting all of those other recruits at his house. Cave came in early and made friends with Fleming and Newman (anyone else?), had them over to the house, let them know about Notre Dame and South Bend and has just been a great spokesman for the University.

Also, McDonald has been awesome. Big time defensive recruit from Southern California. His Dad went to USC but his whole family is all ND now. Love the way he talks about ND.

Really you can go down the line and ever guy is a stud player, very smart and seems to be just a good person. This is going to be a class to remember.
