Show me another team with gold actual gold in there helmets. Can not be topped. I do like Alabamas numbers on the helmets though. One thing I hate is those damn stickers on OSU and FSU .They give those things out for seemingly no reason. At the end of the season they look like the car from National Lampoons Vacation after he went through east St. Louis.

Navy. They even use our paint...Notre Dame gold.

The head coach actually brought it with him when he left Princeton to go to Michigan. It looks better in Michigan colors though.

I'm familiar with Fritz Crisler's job history and the development of the design.

Michigan didn't wear that design for the first 50 years of their program, did they?

That's almost half the life of the program.

Like I said, Michigan stole Princeton's helmet.

I still like the design, and I think Michigan's version has a better contrast than Princeton's.

Good man my , he went to Concord. Here's a real helmet...

I actually like our helmets from the mid 80s - 90s. Think Washington Redskins with Silver in place of the yellow except they had white facemasks. That is a flat out awesome helmet design. Now Goshen's looks like the KC Chiefs with a "G" rather than the KC.
