All that I've seen of this kid is he has to play up top in the center. Can't stick him on either wing.

The Jesus to Arsenal rumors started up and Jesus started scoring goals. LOL.
Yes, he is essentially the next Robert Lewandowski. Will be the best true 9 in the world in 2 years.

Read a story comparing Celtic’s 9 in a row title team (two years ago) to this year’s champions,… only four players remain on the active roster… that’s a hell of a turnaround considering how bad it got last year. Ange pulled off a near miracle this season

No idea if it’s true but this story is going round,… some Hun fan was bragging about getting tickets, airfare and hotel to Seville for the final ahead of time so it cost him only 400 pounds. Some Celtic fan apparently hacked his account, cancelled everything and the guy had to repurchase it all at more than triple the original cost.

Lol. That’s the rivalry for you

BVB will be coming into some money and will use some of said funds to purchase Karim Adeyemi.

Adeyemi is going with Dortmund over Manchester United, among others.

He decided to be the face of Qatari sportswashing. Nothing terribly shocking.

It seems the people on this planet with the most money seem to feel they never have enough. Feels like a curse and quite exhausting.

lol the real shill here is that he takes money from Qatar AND the Saudi's. That's like being an ambassador for Ukraine and the Kremlin lol

£63m is an absolute steal. I assume there are other clauses in there where BVB gets paid out as he achieves things at City? If not, this is crazy.

He was always going to City because it was his pop's team. The fact they're utterly loaded is a bonus.
his old man is probably pocketing 30 odd mil in "fees"

I saw with fees and everything else it's closer to what I'd have expected to be in terms of his true market value. He's getting weekly wages in line with KDB, too, based on reports.

Still, the transfer fee is an absolute bargain.

They def need a rock in the midfield. I'd say they also need a couple more defenders. At least one quality CB (If CCV or Starfelt get hurt wtf would we do?? there's no one really behind them), maybe two and a left back upgrade. I'd say they may want another quality striker also. When Kyogo went down they had GG and that's it and it took GG a long while to get going....

Midfield upgrade is most pressing I would say.
So it’s sounds like Ange ain’t waiting,… Mohanad Jeahze is looking to come in and that’s hopefully our left back upgrade.

Lol,… his wiki page:

,… is a professional footballer who plays as a left-back for Celtic FC in the cinch Premiership. He has confirmed he cannot stand Rangers fans and players. Born in Sweden, he plays for the Iraq national team. Says "Malc got in about ma granny"

Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa evidently didn't get the memo about who all of England is supporting. They're up for it, crowd is up for it.

And on May 22nd they'll lose 6-0.

In Gerrard’s defense, he’s never been one to help Liverpool win a league title.
Meh, he's got one Champions League. His life could've been worse.

It amazes me how some of these mid and lower mid table teams show up against some squads like it's Avengers End Game and then against others they lay down like they want their tummies rubbed. Just utterly odd.

Also, it's really good that Jon Moss is retiring from refereeing.

West Ham have reportedly offered Declan Rice an 8 year contract at $200K per week.

I mean, if somebody out there is willing to pay stupid Maguire/Grealish English player money for the guy, I'd sell and call no trade backs.

I have to feel for Jesse Marsch. He gets the RB Leipzig job in time for them to sell their two best players and not replace them, so he gets 21 matches before he get sacked. Now he's going to get relegated with Leeds, whose supporters will go on believing that Bielsa is a god and is in no way responsible for the club and Marsch being in the situation they are in going down.

It's also irritating that most Brits think he's Ted Lasso.

I just don't really see it that way. I get plenty of texts about City from rival supporting friends whenever City drop points in the league, or get knocked out of champions league. Their games get plenty of viewers globally, and domestically. Grealish goes from the darling of English soccer at the Euro's to being booed at every away ground in the PL because he made a great career move for himself. I could give another 5-10 examples, but I'm not going to bore everyone to death. I think we're just going to have to agree to disagree.

City by no means have the footprint that United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea or probably even Spurs have globally.

The question I have is...why should City fans / supporters care about that though? United have billions of fans all over the world, that probably couldn't even find Manchester on a map, does that make their club better then City? That is not really for me or anyone to decide. I'm perfectly fine with City staying a more grounded domestically centered club that just tries to win trophies for as long as they're financially backed to do so. I could care less if they have a few hundred seats open for PL games, or thousands when they play a domestic cup game on a Tuesday night in February.
Agree. It’s a weird flex soccer fans make about how popular their clubs are. Don’t really see that in other sports. Of course,

Coppa Italia was incredibly entertaining, if not horribly officiated. Allegri's return to Juventus hasn't quite been up to snuff as of yet. He'd been mentioned in connection to Arsenal, Man United, Chelsea at various points in recent years.

Serie A has really fallen in terms of quality. Probably a matter of time before one of the powers gets purchased by some large group and they become the next superpower. For now, it explains one of the reasons why Italy are not in the World Cup. Again.

Honestly, I rather like it that way....don't need a bunch of social medial impressions, or tourist fans at the Etihad on a weekly basis buying half-half scarves to make me feel good about supporting City.

It's not secret that the Etihad can be a little dead for some league an cup games, but when the fans have been needed over the last ten years they have shown up. City also has a fantastic away traveling contingent, that to their credit the past ten years have traveled all over Western Europe to support City while probably paying a small fortune along the way....while I would guess most of those people hail from very middle class roots because of being Mancunian.

4 out of 5 PL titles would be an incredible achievement.
For comparison, Chelsea have been spending a fortune on players for the past two decades, and only have 5 PL titles to show for it.
We shall see how the last week plays out.

I don't see how this is sustainable, but people have been saying that for years now.

The inevitability of a Super League just seems to inch closer.

I'll save you the suspense. City 11, West Ham and Villa 0.

North London Derby today. This is no easy game, and I could totally see a Sp*rs win depending on how the game is played. However, ugh do I want to celebrate St. Totteringham's Day again.

I think that is being a tad dismissive of the challenge playing West Ham away will be on Sunday with no fit center backs...but hopefully you're correct! :)

Nobody told Wolves about the no fit center backs.

They'll beat West Ham 5-0, shit on Noble's retirement cake and take turns shagging his wife.
