Evan Epstein??

ESPN has ND listed as the front runner for him and he's listed surprisingly high for a 2 star? did ND offer this kid?? seems a bit below this years standards as far as recruits go but he has good size.

Army, Navy, North Texas, Notre Dame, Rice, UNLV, UTEP

I doubt he got an offer from us.

Don't look at Stars unless you’re into astronomy. Epstein grandfather played for the Irish. Evan is 6'4" 290lb pure center at only 17 years old. Benches 400, Squats 600, 40 yard is 5 flat – 1st Team All-State with over 100 pancake blocks. Excellent in all levels and has a lot a growth. This is a true Irishmen. Evan comes from the same school Bob Morton jr. and some say he is a lot better and possibly the best linemen in the country.

I have seen this kid play live and in person and he is better than any lineman we have coming in. He would be a steal for ND. He plays a lot like Sean Mahan who was not a big time recruit either when he first came to Notre Dame. Same size/Strength and mean streak.

I wouldnt go and say best recruit in our class and definitely not in the country period. if he was the best all the top schools would be all over him. coaches make lots of money to recruit and if he's as good as some of you claim better scholls would have offered him. dont let one performance or bench press cloud your judgement he cant be that good.

Sorry I am late to the thread- - the pig latin kills my, but I would need a translation software instalation to keep up- but the easiest thing for me to do in deciding if he was legit is look at LOVEMYIRISH post and do a little Mr Rogers work. You know, one of these things is not like the others, one of these (schools) just doesn't belong. Scout has the 7 schools listed and ND is the only one not offering - i wonder why? Maybe becasue we are no longer in competition with Rice, UTEP, UNLV and N Texas for recruits like during the last 2 regimes.
