all year long we've all put up with the bullshit that ESPN has put out about the Irish. and last week they dubbed the Irish duke game was the worst game ever to be nationally televised. this week ESPN will broadcast the Irish (2-9) Stanford (3-7) game. just thought it was funny how bad the Irish have been this year and yet their still televising one of the worst teams in college football (it truly saddens me to say that). I guess this year it proves that ND is truly the Center of the college football world. RATINGS

Notre Dame is always relevant.

I liken ESPN to a publishing house that can't stand publishing a conservative author's book, but they also can't resist the millions of dollars its sale will reap b/c they know it'll be a best seller. Money talks...

Guess ESPN could have televised another game,:jerkit: but the payoff would have been significantly lower. People around the country love to kick us while we are down but we will be back on top, Then all will be silent again. GO IRISH :clover:

Don't get me wrong...I am fired up to have College Football Live on 5 days a week. But I am sick of the same stupid-ass ticker that they have been using for the last few months that has team schedules, key returnees, and key losses, at least in it's current state. ND's list STILL includes Maurice Crum as a key loss. For MONTHS NOW!!! Fix your ticker, and change it to Trevor Laws for Pete's sake!

Perhaps I'm nitpicking, but it's yet another example of the anti-ND bias that flows freely from that network. Where's Lou, by the way?

I have also noticed many times it shows Rudy Carpenter as a key loss for ASU....

Money talks...[/QUOTE]
If this ain't the truth in life then I don't know what is. The money puts pressure on the broadcasters because they may not necessarily want to show the game, they know it will make money off of Advertising slots, i.e. ratings are magnificent when Notre Dame is playing.... That's all o.k., pretty soon we will be good and all those great recruits will see us.... dominating!!
