this guy used a ton of soundtracks beautifully.
I love how he was able to sync the OU game perfectly with the flow of the Rocky IV theme .. Brilliant... And I literally got chills seeing BK and Alford hug at the end of the SC game because i could only imagine the emotion they had. The fact they were completely unphased over the gatorade shower speaks volumes IMO
I too watched the full 35 minutes at work. So yes that was 35 minutes wasted. I did kind get things done and watch at the same time the best I could but still not great for a productivity standpoint.
I am in school and normally work part time typically 5 hours a day but I am working full time over winter break. The funny thing is I am getting less done work 8 hours a day than I normally do at 5. I blaim my ND discussions a great deal for this fact.
Makes me realize how much I"m gonna miss Riddick...
Dude is a GAMER
I think it is almost exactly like what Lou did between 86-88. He came into the lockerroom and retaught those kids how to be winner again, by changing the losing/acceptable mediocrity culture that existed. BK has been exactly what ND needed after all these years, with his ability to mold this team into a national title contender using a mix of his players and Weis' effectively, just as Lou took Faust's senior recruits and mixed them in with his own. Just a remarkable job by both coaches and players alike.I'm going to miss this whole senior class. Even if ND loses the NC and lets say wins the NC in 2015 or something. This will always be the group that brought Notre Dame back to an elite level.
I love NDs past as much as anyone but it does do you any good on field in present times. ND had to learn how to be elite all over. Takes a special group to break through the losing culture that was around for the last decade of failing in clutch and never being able to break through in big games (not emotion the epic chokes Syracuse, UCONN, Navy, et al)
What ever happens the 2012 group brought ND back to being an elite program. They will always have a special place with me.
