I know I am behind the curve, but I have yet to purchase this game. Does it differ much from previous versions. I currently have 2011, so I am up to date with the current changes. Just wonder if 2012 has any significant changes.

Pass coverage and spread running are much improved.

Thanks good to know. I never understood people who play and get into every detail. Whenever I play online, I play as if I was a real coach if something does not work I move to the next play. I have an above .500 record and have only been blown out twice.

What I notice, though, is some people get very mad if you don't quit if they ask. I have received some crazy messages after games. It is not that serious.

just scratch out the 11 and write in 12. It will save u 60 bucks. It's the same game every year. What a ripoff.

A little pre snap motion and whatnot...deadly.

I just don't like it at all...I was expecting more I guess.

There seems to be some serious rubberband AI going on with it too.

I made a QB...whoever is calling my plays is an idiot...that needs fixing...situational play calling is terrible.
My players rarely get open, and when they do, the superman cornerbacks or linebackers leap 10 feet to knock balls away or pick them off...it's wild!
I'm winning...but it's feeling pretty cheap and all around ridiculous.

I played RTG a year or so ago and never want to play it again, no matter what they do to it... completely worthless game mode imo... if they do indeed have such trouble with disk space and such as they claim then RTG should be the first thing scraped so they can free up space to enhance the crowd and atmoshpere... among other things

Road to Glory does pretty much suck. Since I have yet to get 2012 I decided to play 2011. I started a RTG and when I created a RB all the plays called were passing plays. Most which I just block. Then I create QB and most plays are run plays or screens. Not really that fun to me, I would rather just be able to control all players.

What I didn't like was the change in difficulty between positions. At QB, I quickly became a 5 star. As ROLB (on the same player), I became a 5 star a week or so before the playoffs.

On another player, I was a WR and Safety. I struggled getting past a 2 star at either position. At safety, pass coverage was a pain in the *** and my teammates always tackled the ball carrier before I could get to him on run plays. As a WR, running routes and getting open was a biotch (I was a posession wideout so maybe that was my problem) but even when I got open I couldn't catch the ball. It was bull.

I'm not ecstatic about the mode either.

FINALLY took the game out of the wrapper yesterday, but had an engagement party to get to. Spent the whole time prior to then modifying the roster/coaches. Have my dynasty all setup and ready to go! Hopefully later today...

Power O is and has been the best play in this game for years now... you can run the hell out of hte clock and 8/10 it's good for solid yardage... Never did the Power I and Maryland I like I have this year buth both playbooks have the Power O... un-stop-able

I've brought back the pony express in a big way with this playbook... run to pass ratio must be 9-1... Alabama on Heisman can't freakin stop it... trust me, I played Bama in their house and smoked them like a pack of kools

My only problem is SMU's defensvie backfield is so bad I have real problem stopping the pass thus far.
