Going for it on 4th & 17 is NEVER THE CORRECT CALL unless it is late in the 4th Q.

It's like Weis is playing Madden for Christ sake.

The more I see the more I say this season is not CW's fault, atleast not all his fault.

Too close to punt too far to kick, it wasnt a horrible shot. They dont have amazing field position or anything.

Um, except that we had the first down if the ball that hit him in the hands wasn't dropped.

I just posted the point of Sullivan having a problem with the shotgun snap and now we get another blown snap. Two guards blow the snap count. Grimes drops the ball, Parris drops the ball. That is a player problem, not necessary a coaching problem. Maybe Weis doesn't have anybody on the team who can do the basic tasks. Now, if those same players are on the field next year and still making the same mistakes, then CW should be fired. If the upperclassmen won't execute, then play the freshmen.

The CALL was fine. The QB had time, the receiver was open. Heck, even the throw was good. It was the EXECUTION that cost them that one.

Just wait, I;'m sure there's some penalty the refs will come up with to give Duke the ball and take points away from ND.

"There's a fumble on the play. But Notre Dame used their hands to try to possess it. By rule, the ball reverts to Duke, and Notre dame is docked 10 points. Duke 0, ND -10."

Our kicker is horrible. what's the difference between giving them the ball right there on downs after missing a field goal or giving it to them on downs after missing a 4th and long attemt. It still goes in the book as a turnover on downs.

Hughes is a beast. I thought i said earlier that we need to keep running the ball the rest of the day.

You punt and pin them behind the 10.
