This would be the ultimate College Football/Notre Dame Schedule

Week 1: Michigan
Week 2: @ Florida State
Week 3: @ Miami
Week 4: LSU
Week 5: Tennessee
Week 6: @ Oklahoma
Week 7: BYE
Week 8: Florida
Week 9: @ Ohio State
Week 10: West Virginia
Week 11: BYE
Week 12: @ Texas
Week 13: USC

Tell me that wouldnt be a dream scedule

i guess if you really want the #1 SOS... but imagine this years team goin with that schedule... that record would not be pretty

Week 2: Stanford
Week 3: Michigan
Week 4: Miami
Week 5:Michigan State
Week 6: USC
Week 7: Boston College
Week 8: Bye
Week 9: FSU
Week10:Rutgers
Week 11:Virginia Tech
Week 12: Air Force
Week 13: ohio state

maybe... if you go 4-8 or somethin even worse that that its not gonna be good for morale

The pundants would still find a way to critcize it, stating that two bye weeks meant we were weak.

You and I seem to be the only ones who love the tough schedule. Maybe it's because we remember the tradition of always slaying the giants. The bigger the game; the better we do. That's my recollection of Irish football, not Ty Davie - - that's only the young'ins memory. Or, maybe it's because we're both maniacs from New Jersey.

You have a selective memory. Go back through the annals and look at who we played and how they were ranked. You will find that we did not play schedules only filled with Giants. In fact, the schedules during the Davie and Willingham years were tough.

Take a look through this...I think you will find that in some of our best years the schedule was not so tough (look at 1993...ouch)

I know we get a ton of criticism for our schedule, but I think this one's a little unrealistic. First, you don't have Navy, and I don't want us to stop playing them. I like how you spread the games out all over the country though. I wish we'd do more of that now. We play too many B11 and P10 teams right now and not enough SEC, ACC, and B12.

Here's the outline of my dream schedule, in no particular order:

UM or OSU
MSU or PU
Stanford or other P10
Big East 1
Big East 2
ACC
B12
SEC
Navy
USC
Mountain West, Fresno State or Boise State
One more from ACC/B12/SEC/B11/P10

Assuming that ND could win every game on this schedule I think this would be pretty sweet, even though it's not realistic at all.

Week 1: @ Purdue
Week 2: @ Michigan
Week 3: Alabama (Or other large SEC school)
Week 4: Michigan St.
Week 5: @ Florida St. (Or other large ACC/PAC 10 school)
Week 6: Navy
Week 7: Ohio State
Week 8: Boston College
Week 9: @ Penn State
Week 10: Bye
Week 11: Miami
Week 12: @ Texas A&M (Or other large Big XII school)
Week 13: USC

Bowl: vs. Florida in the Rose Bowl for the NC.


Here's how I would reschedule this year's games if I could.


Week 1: Duke
Week 2: @ Purdue
Week 3: @ Michigan
Week 4: Air Force
Week 5: Georgia Tech
Week 6: Michigan St.
Week 7: @ Stanford
