It remains to be seen but I believe we are going to lose games to Arkansas, Kentucky, South Carolina, and Alabama...

Yes. Absolutely. He's had a couple tough losses, but look, we've lot a lot of starters, especially offensively with our QB, RB, and two wide receivers. that's essentially our entire offensive moneymaker right there. Our remaining WRs and RBs never really saw much action.

We have more freshmen STARTING (not just on the roster) than juniors and seniors combined. We have a serious lack of experience, which CW could do nothing about. but look. We're getting recruiting class after recruiting class in the top 10. Next year, it will mainly be kids that CW recruited starting, and the year after it'll only be his kids. If after that, the top recruits in the country stop wanting to come to ND to play for CW, and we aren't a dominant force, even with all the talent, then we'll obviously have to sac him.

Also consider who we've lost to. Georgia Tech (ranked 15 now), Penn State (ranked 12), and Michigan, who can never be underestimated as a football school. Now, if we lost to App State and Oregon....

I think it's a bit too early to be talking about jumping ship. You need to give Weis time to build a team, not fire him before he's had a chance. With Willingham it was pretty clear he wasn't going anywhere with the way he was recruiting (and thank him for this season), versus Weis, who's recruiting classes are getting better and better.

I am not throwing in the towel or firing the coach, but we are in BIG trouble. CW is quickly losing this team. Today it was evident after the 1st quarter that the D was not in the game. They are beat down and frustrated. They did not give effort and quit tackling. As for the Offense. I have never witnessed anything like this in my life. They are the worst O in the history of ND. I do have to admit I have lost some faith in CW. I hear all the talent issues with this team, but we still are playing with 3-4 star recruits at most positions. Trust me I have looked at all our recruiting issues and know that Ty put us in a hole, but CW is not coaching up our kids. They are regressing not improving. There are many teams across the country who would love to have many of our kids. Time for CW to step up and answer some tough quesitons.

I have stayed positive... said many times we can make a bowl game still and tried HARD to mod a site full of irrational fans that are dealing with a hard loss by giving perspective... tell me where I thrown in anything...

Yeah, actually I do.

Anyone who thought this season was going to be easy is crazy. It's been known since the day Weis started that this season would suck. No one ever expected it to be this bad, but EVERYONE who followed the team closely knew.
