Digital Minimalism

I came across this intersection of two of my favorite subjects today and thought I'd share due to the ND connection:

I'm not trying to convert anyone into digital minimalism, or buying an expensive phone that does nothing. But I've personally found a better quality of life since moving my personal phone to the LightPhone II in 2019 and now using the LightPhone III. If anyone has had a similar experience, or has questions, I'd love to chat about this.

My old colleague (I should not call her old, she's like 40) is a Notre Dame grad and uses a lightphone

I’ve been thinking about ditching my smart phone for years but always find an excuse not to. It’s so useful but I hate how easily it can steal one’s attention for hours.

I have no Facebook/Instagram/TikTok/Twitter(X)............ANY of that madness. The closest I have is this site right here.

The only way people can get in touch with me is if they write a letter, call me or visit.

Does that count as "digital minimalism"?

I'd say that you're way beyond what most people would do to live a digital minimal life. IE is my vice and I'm on here several times a day. Its a hard habit to break.

Yeah I love it here. I get all sorts of different view points and each and every one is unique in their own way. You guys/gals are like my other family.
