That is my point exactly. It is innuendo. This is, what, two hours since this thread stated "according to Rivals.com" and there is still nothing on Rivals or anywhere else.

Excuse me if I have been sucked in by transfer rumors that come without confirmation, but I have.

I'm not sure if you know how Rivals works, but the staff (who doesn't post stuff they have not confirmed, i.e. Louis Nix) first post it on the message boards on a pinned thread. Then, when they have enough to write a story more than a paragraph, they will write an article.

I am simply observing the "chicken little" bullshit that passes for news on these boards. I don't know how many of you were sucked in by the posts that brought Mrs. Lynch into this community, but for me, that was it as far as the supposed news goes.

How many of wished the door had hit Trevor Robinson's ass, or Cierre Wood's ass or whomever's ass based on a rumor posted by one of the community?

I never intended to call Terry Tate a liar. But when hours pass and even Rivals is not reporting that this true, what am I supposed to do?

If I remember correctly, Roback was recruited as an "athlete", and it was expected that he would play defense. [like perhaps a slobberknocker safety]. This is why I was not surprised to see the recent information posted that he'd been installed at safety somewhere down the depth chart [behind the top four or five]. if this is true, then Derek never thought that he was going to play QB here, and was happy to accept his chance to play defense. So something about all this speculation isn't making sense to me. --- and I too have found that Terry Tate is one of the best contributors to the site, so when he says something I pay attention. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Perhaps we should stay a little patient [not one of the prime characteristics of these forums], and see what happens. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------and I think that it would be a difficult-to-contemplate shame for anyone to eat Neutered's jerky. That is true about Shaq. But it is also true that a thread from last season about Shaq transferring then appeared. And when somebody suggested then he was transferring there were the usual "don't let the door hit you" comments. So the Shaq rumor is only .500.
