ND fans ripped Holtz S&C Coach Butch Woolfolk that his Olympic lifting style resulting in weakened, stamina deficient players. Those same fans ignored that ND was no longer getting Vinny Cerrato talented athletes.

Butch Woolfolk went to Navy where he was Strength & Conditioning coach for athletes with less talent than Davie, Willingham, and Weis recruited. Yet his undersized athletes in the trenches have held their own with the Irish OLs and DLs and Navy (and Woolfolk) has won 2 of the last 3.

sorry but the fact that the guys are doing better than expected in his area points to the fact that these kids have been wroking harder for the combine than they did for Mendoza... that's what I get out of it

How is that a fact? Were you in the gym with the team while Mendoza was strenght and conditioning them? You can't claim your opinion as a fact! Fact is, many ND fans burned pervious S&Cing coaches that have came through the ND program, yet, one has NC ring and the other is doing pretty well at Navy.
