WOW what a disapointing fight....as usual. Oscar didn't want to fight he never threw a punch and when he did it was in bunches on the ropes to make it look like he was doing something. EXTREMELY dissapointed and he was smiling and happy after the fight after he had lost, because he knew the money that was gonna be there when he left the arena. Because i know when he lost to Trinidad when he thought he won he was PISSED. Mayweather owned him taking a solid 9 rounds of the fight with him. Judges scored it WAY TOO CLOSE and in reality wasn't even close. Another superfight overhyped...I watched all the episodes of the reality show on HBO leading up to it. I've watched alot of boxing and this......was a let down.

Mayweather DOMINATED that fight... EXACTLY like I thought it would go down too... both guys are dnacers... has Oscar EVER been the one chasing???? He had to be here, I knew it would go the distance, Mayweather wouldn't connect more than a jab or tow here and there and Oscar wouldn't be able to catch up...

I was at a party here in so cal and everyone was pissed... in part b/c no one got knocked down, and in part b/c Oscar lost... I loved this fight... not all fights have to be Gotti style blood bath... Floyd knew what he had to do and did it... beautiful fight on his part...

and I love seeing Oscar get socked up... YES!

Don't piss off the hispanics in socal on cinco de mayo. They'll take over that state in a heatbeat. No justice, no peace.

$54.95 to watch pretty boy floyd dance around oscar for 12 rounds landing punches every 20 seconds??? Man what a boring fight. I know the boxing fanatics out there enjoyed watching maywhether dismantle de la hoya but c'mon, that was brutal to watch after all the hype it came in with.

How did Mayweather dismantle De La Hoya? He ran around like a bitch. AND he had to wait for a decision, because he knew his punches were softer than anOSU schedule.

Utterly shite fight.

You got 'A Champ' dethrowned by a guy who hardly EVER took the center of the ring, and couldnt even lay out a guy who he claimed 'is overrated, and soft'

Mayweathers whack!!

at the least that fight was a draw..or de la Hoya won

no way is he "the best pound for pound boxer"...if the ring didn't have ropes, Mayweather would have fell out of it several times last night with all of his back pedaling.

Mayweather boxes, doesn't fight.......and everyone who has seen him fight before knew that he was going to do it. It was up to De La Hoya to take it to him and he didn't, lost alot of respect for Oscar after this fight and he didn't seem to care that he lost after words. Not every fight has to be like Gatti, but also i never miss a Gatti fight and no one can top his fights even when he loses and Mayweather dismantled Gatti and everyone else he fought....he is the best pound for pound. The REAL fight coming up is Winky Wright vs. Benard Hopkins.

Cotto v. Judah is coming up next in MSG.

Mayweather did what was expected and he boxed his way to a victory. Anyone who watched his previous fights save for Corrales knows he never knocks anyone out...
De La Hoya got tired at the end and he was frustrated.
This fight did not save boxing by a long shot...

Mayweather needs to drop down and fight PacMan...

RIP Diego Corrales

One of my favorite fighters.

Castillo v Corrales I --one of the best fights I ever seen and that is where he became one of my favorites
