1. You don't know what other people's motivations are, here, unless they blatantly spell them out for you. And, even then.........people lie.

2. You, nor I, nor anyone else on this board, has any clue what the real Tim Tebow is all about. If it came out that he was molesting little boys in all of the countries that he is buidling churches in, would that change your impression of him? I'm betting it would.

3. For those who seem to care about such things..........I have a Kuwaiti Liberation Medal, I have survived a brain aneurysm, and I'm nice to puppies and kittens. I thought it was pretty weak, to see him bawling like a baby, myself. I wouldn't go so far as to call him out on an internet message board, but I thought it was pretty girly.

And the molesting little boys thing.... have you seen his girlfriend? and the fact that he is a good christian athlete...... i dont see other athletes going into third world countries for the media attention, i dont know why someone would think tebow would do that. I don't like Tebow... didn't like John Tesch either.... he probably did a lot right too. Just personal gut feeling. The evangelical stuff works for some.

But... I think even mentioning little boys goes a little far..... kind of like saying... I'm not saying you look fat in those jeans, honey...

After mulling this over for the past day I've come to a few revelations & need to apologize for some of my words.

I will remain unapologetic for taking great pleasure in Florida & Tebow's loss to Alabama & I will not retract my opinion that a football field is not the place for grown man to cry after losing a game. I don't believe that it wrong to expect somebody of his age, in the position he is to exude certain character traits & be able to contain certain emotions.

However I am apologetic for my over exuberance & childish remarks concerning the matter. I translated my disdain for Florida football over to a player who in all likeliness is very undeserving of such contempt. I understand he is very upstanding human being & goes out of his way to do everything he does to the absolute fullest. I'm just tired of having it shoved down my throat.

I absolutely could have handled it with a lot more class & to those I may have upset or offended I apologize to you as well.

Don't sweat it... there are people (actors) who are probably find people and for whatever reason some of us don't want to see their movies. When other argue that they are the best actor ever... that's cool for them, however, not for others.

I don't like Tebow... He had a good run. I felt that Texas was the team last year. Florida won the NC and with he victor goes the spoils. He was mediocre this year and they lost. In my personal opinion he may not have (he may have been) their best QB to take them to the NC. They had a lot of close games where Tebow under performed. I was amazed they had so many games that the failed to dominate even though they had such superior surrounding team... it kept coming back to Tebow this year for me. They put a lot into him and he never turned into the QB Urbey thought they had. It was either Urbey or Tebow...what do you think.

...Nice Job Moose...look I must have grown up in a different time and place...emotion like that is weak to me...Yea the kid is a good football player...has the heart of a Lion...got it...so spare me the Tebow for president horseshit...I get the anger about bagging on him, although, some of you guys are way to self-rightous...have a sense of humor...

...it was a tough football game...if anyone on that field has lead a life that would have given him the perspective to...well put the loss of a football game in the propper perspective...it'd be Tebow. Where he's done his Misionary work...people DIE...regularly of stuff that shouldn't kill people...

I do not mind taking any of your shit...including your negative reps. Bring it...I thought the guy should have gutted it out, and continued to be the leader of men he has been. I'm disappointed.
