Great things happened to me recently fellas! I met my fiance's cousin who's a ND grad and lawyer, and she said she could get me 2 tickets to any home game during the season (her husband is a grad as well.) She put in for the SDSU and Pitt games for me (they take the Michigan game for themselves) and we got both of em'!!! I'll be going to the opener, and my friend who introduced me to ND football back when I was a kid is taking his girl to the Pitt game. I'm getting married in October, so finances are kinda in short supply. Next year I'm going to try to go to about every home game!! I cannot wait, and just wanted to share it with people who could appreciate it.

Thats great Jaker I'm happy for you! Unfortunately my luck was just the opposite. I usually get tickets to one home game per year but this year I got nothing, zip, nada, zero. I'm freaking devestated. I'm thinking real hard about driving up from TN taking a tent and staying at the campground in Granger and looking for tickets the day of the game. It's about an 8hr drive so I can't decide whether or not to take the chance on getting tickets or not.

Thanks irish4ever, and funny stuff. I'm almost 30, and the last of a dying breed of bachelors soon to be extinct! GoldandBlue, that's terrible man! I'd do it if I were you. I know it's a long drive, but I'd bet you would have luck scoring a ticket or two. Bought my Duke tickets last year for like $150 before the season on a ticket site, and saw people selling them for $10 bucks on the way to the stadium. Looking back, I'd still pay it to see that game. It truly was the Hughes coming out party. The guys going to be a monster this year!! I just have to see Floyd in person ASAP.

Almost forgot to mention, I live in Iowa and went to see Samardzja pitch seven innings for the I Cubs last week. He played pretty well, giving up a few hits towards the end. Also managed to get a single. The guy throws some heat! We were sitting on the first base line and almost got beamed by a foul ball. My buddy managed to catch a hot dog shot out of a cannon. Hot dogs from cannons taste way better than regular stadium dogs LOL!

I saw him, what was it last year, when he pitched for the Boise Hawks, pretty weird seeing him in a baseball uni not on TV wearing the blue and gold.

I don't know why but this recruting class is really making me excited for ND football this year. I think it has to do with the level of talent CW and co are bringing in. I'm so excited i can't wait 47 days.

This has been the most arduous off season I can remember. I can't wait for our chance at redemption! I may be drinking the Kool-Aid and wearing the rose colored glasses and whistling past the graveyard, but I think we are going to have a great year, but I am always optimistic about a new season. People can speculate and analyze all they want, but, at the start of every season, I choose to believe THIS is the year we finally do it!
